Ambient World is a sub-label of Fax +49-69/450464 (often abbreviated to just ‘Fax’) – a small record label specialising in experimental electronic music. In the 15 years since its creation it has released approximately 350 recordings. The unique nature of the music, and the infrastructure of the label, means that most releases only consist of between 500 and 2000 copies.

Given the scarcity of the some early Fax releases, Ambient World was established to re-release selected ‘classic’ works.
